A week ago I was conducting a three hour past life regression, last week I was preparing the manuscript of my book on past lives for a publisher ( more on that to come!) , this Friday I was promoting an event for the wonderful husband and wife Mediumship team of Rob and Stacey Deacon.
Rob and Stacey now live in Leicestershire, but come from North London, and that latter urban sharpness is very apparent in their performance.
The audience loved their husband and wife, “Terry and June” double act, combining love, laughter, banter and warmth with hugely impressive evidence.
Working in pubs and clubs is different from Spiritualist Churches.
For a start there are many interested in Spiritualism who do not wish to go into Churches for a variety of reasons, so events such as these tend to reach an entirely new audience, as was the case here.
Food, soft drinks and alcohol are also available creating a relaxed environment.
Last, but not least, Friday night is a going out night, so our performance on Friday needed to entertain and engage as well as being true to Spirit.
Rob and Stacey pulled that mix off with ease, and it was a delight mixing with the audience after the show to glean what was without exception positive feedback.
What set the evening apart was a question and answer session at the start, led by our MC, which enabled the audience to get to know Rob and Stacey as well as answer questions on Mediumship and Spiritualism generally, and reassure first -timers.
I loved reaching out to a new audience, and was thrilled to be invited to promote Rob and Stacey again at a Charity Event for Mia Parnell , a nine year old girl living with a chronic, incurable, condition.
