I was motivated by several factors. I had not been before and had heard good things about the centre, the irrepressible Rob and Stacey Deacon were the platform Mediums, and I wanted to sense the energy of the place in advance of my Past Life Regression Workshop on Saturday 15 July, 10am- 3pm.
Located in a shop unit on the main road, the fascia is bright and inviting with plenty of car parking around including some limited places at the centre itself.
I could not have been made more welcome by President Ros Hackett, and her team. I was glad that I arrived early, some forty five minutes before the start time, as the centre quickly filled up and was full to bursting for the start.
Two things were immediately apparent. Firstly they have a full and varied programme running on several days in the week.
Secondly, there was an unusually strong enquiring ethos amongst the congregation. In addition to conventional mediumship demonstrations, they also offer workshops, table turning and discussion groups.
Rob and Stacey gave one of the strongest performances I have seen from them.
The packed room suited them as they teamed up to give messages full of evidence, love and laughter, mixed with the odd tear.
A strong, non- SNU affiliated church, I shall be back!
