I had a wonderful day at Horninglow Spiritual Church, Burton upon Trent, Saturday 11th March, leading a workshop on Past Lives.
It is designed as an introduction to the subject, and opened with a stimulating round table discussion about Past Lives with many having experiences they wanted to share, and questions they wanted to ask. Some had a strong sense of having experienced past lives, some spoke of visiting places for the first time that seemed at the same time so familiar, some had an inexplicably strong affinity with places, countries and eras, others just spoke of experiencing deja-vu.
I often have people approach me for personal one to one regressions who are not really sure what they want. It can transpire that what they really need is an opportunity to explore experiences from earlier in their present life, or just specific life issues. This workshop helps to clarify that.
Throughout recorded history, various peoples and religions have spoken of reincarnation, particularly those from the East. Ancient Greek philosophers pondered the concept of Universal Knowledge in which everything was known- we just had to uncover it. Today cutting edge science is exploring epigenetics, in which knowledge and experience may be passed through generations genetically. A subject which some are uneasy about, even dismissive of, had a depth and substance which everyone had an opinion on.
I led a series of guided meditations to help to stimulate the groups sense of past lives, with fascinating results. One person told of being taken back to a Viking settlement in Newfoundland, another of finding themselves in Tudor England. I am always a little wary of those who speak of having been Cleopatra or King Henry 8th, the dangers of assimilated knowledge being so great. Instead we had extraordinary stories of ordinary lives.
A Past Lives Card reading drew similarly strong responses in which three cards told of how the past was impacting upon the past, present, and may impact upon the future. All were fascinated by how natural skills, talents and phobias might relate to past lives and the role which Karma may play in influencing our lives.
A group session is ideal for drawing out themes and general experiences, but I am firm about ensuring that no individual feels exposed. Once people’s interest has been stimulated I offer personal one to one regression sessions to help people explore their own selves in comfort and privacy.
My next Past Lives Worksop is at Long Eaton Church in Nottinghamshire on May 6th, and can be booked via Paypal on this site. I can also be contacted for one to one regression sessions at a time to suit you.
